ARP 8740 chrome moly wheel studs are a requirement for road racing vehicles. These heat treated studs have a tensile strength of 200,000 psi and are able to easily handle the tremendous loads and lateral forces found in racing. The studs are sold in 4 and are cadmium plated for extra durability and will withstand the repeated on/off cycles that result from the racing environment. These studs have a 2.750 underhead length for more lug nut engagement and ease of mounting wheels.
Be aware that if you have replaced your rear hubs from Mazdaspeed they have probably been replaced with the 1995-2000 hubs which require the later style stud. Please verify what you have if you have any doubts.
